YOUR PRAYERS ARE CLEARLY WORKING

Thousands of people around the world are now saying the Mike O’Shea Healing Prayer.  Your prayers are clearly working. THANK YOU!

Great news - Mike has just found out from The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) that there are 58 donor matches in the U.S. and 400 matches worldwide. Within the next few days we will find out if one of Mike’s four siblings is a match.

Over the last four days, Mike has been dealing with the side effects of the chemotherapy (which we call medicine). He is focused on regaining his strength and staying positive. Mike has an excellent, positive attitude as all of you would expect.  Every nurse and doctor are considered part of his team.  As you would imagine, Mike provides each and every member of the medical staff with great, daily entertainment.  His room is filled with POSITIVITY!

As you say the HEALING PRAYER, please see Mike with his family, healthy and laughing as he visualizes it himself when he says the prayer.  Remember, say it with Mike – “The Leukemia is in remission, Mike O’Shea is healed. Mike is healthy!”  You are welcome and encouraged to leave positive and inspirational comments for Mike.

Once again, thanks for being part of TEAM MIKE!  Your love, support and prayers are a POWERFUL force in Mike’s recovery.

Yes, yes, yes, the leukemia is in remission and our wonderful son-in-law is healed and healthy! As Tina's parents, we are so grateful for her positive, upbeat attitude and for the outpouring of love and prayers from friends who believe in prayer and healing. Great news about all the bone marrow matches, but I bet Rob, Kathy, Eileen or Tim may be a match too (thanks to the good genes they got from Tim and Peggy). Keep praying. Lots of hugs and love to Mike from Ken & Linda

  2. I cried when I read this...as the wife of a cancer patient I know all too well what Tina and the entire family are going through. My children were young when Eric was diagnosed - something no child should have to go through. With the help of family and constant thoughts and prayers we got through it with flying colors. This January Eric will reach his 5 year goal and will truly be considered a "survivor." Mike was at a party we threw when Eric finished his treatments....I am sure we will be there to help Mike celebrate his success. Much love to the entire family and a special prayer to Mike each and every day. One of my favorite all time sayings is and has been...."you don't know how strong you are until strong is the only word you know." Be strong, be well and fear nothing Mike.

  3. Your positive live and support of our family over the years has been appreciated. Now it is our turn to do for you. The Friedmans are saying their daily prayers, and recalling all the joyful exuberance you have brought into our lives. Jacob is sure that you will be busting down doors again in the very near future. Stay focused, I won't tell anyone that you haven't been to the gym yet today. All our love to you and your incredible family! We look forward to your complete recovery. You are strong!

  6. Mike:

We pray for you daily and know that with your strength and positive energy, coupled with the power of prayer and support from your family and friends, you will kick AML's a** (edited for the children) like it's never been kicked before. Of course, we stand willing to help however you and Tina need us as you continue to heal.

  7. Dear Mike,

This is such wonderful news!! I've been thinking about you and your family ever since I heard the news last week. You are a wonderful, strong person and you WILL get through this! We have our 25th High School reunion in November. I hope you'll be there!

  8. Mike,
I just asked Kevin Mangini to give your hand a squeeze for me. My family and I are thinking about and praying for you every day. I'll keep leaving you voice mails, which you can pick up or ignore as you see fit. I know that you're a "bold and brazen" guy, since that's what Sister Margaret called you as she yanked your ear and pulled you away from some other derelict at St. C's: so those are also good qualities to see you through this! In all seriousness, we're with you every day on this one.

Lots of love to a guy with a huge heart,

    Mike:

Hey Mike! I hope today was a good day for you! Just wanted you to know, me and my family are thinking about you and praying for you every day; we are holding Tina, the kids and all your family close in our prayers too! I was talking to Denise last night and we chuckled thinking of you most likely stealing other people's jello or blowing up latex gloves and letting them sale through the hallway. You bring a smile to my face even in these difficult times!!! Mike, you are so strong and that strength is going to carry you through this!! Sending you a BIG BEAR HUG (or two!!) from North Carolina and visualizing a health, happy Mr. Mike.

    Lots of Love!!!

    Maura, Mike & Abigail

  11. Hi Michael,

It was great seeing you on Saturday. I was so happy to see you looking good and see that your sense of humor remains as good as ever. Glad to hear that things are progressing and you are healing. I need you to keep your stength so that you can spin me at my big birthday this summer. It wasn't on film last time, but, this time if Tim can control himself maybe he can record it so we could see how great we do on the dance floor. . I'll try to keep my weight down so that I am lighter to spin and you need to keep your strength so that you can do your part!!Alyssa had a good time with Jack and Colin on Saturday and said that they were the best behaved kids on the playground. You should be so proud -
    Love as always, Corinne

  12. Hey Mike

It's so great to hear the recent news about your progress. I haven't prayed so much since when I was an alter boy. I hope you're home with your family very soon. Our family will continue to pray for you and your family.

Love Cousin Terry, Cathy and family
