Dear Friends of Mike,
This past Saturday, Mike lost his battle with leukemia. He is now looking down upon us, in the arms of his beloved mother, with his father smiling besides them.
The O'Shea Family would like to thank everyone, for the overwhelming outpouring of love bestowed upon Mike, and all of us, over the past 10 months. No family could have ever expected the incredible community outreach that resulted. Frankly, we were all blown away. No words will ever be able to express our gratitude.
We will be holding the wake on Monday and Tuesday, January 21st and 22nd, both days from 2-4 and 7-9pm at:

The funeral mass will be held at 10.00 am on Wednesday, January 23rd at:

Often, a family who loses a loved one spends the days and weeks after the funeral thanking everyone who has done something for them in the very difficult times that follow the passing. In this case, it is those of us who were privileged enough to attend Mike's celebration who should be thankful. While sadness permeated a good portion of the day, Mike's undaunted spirit was carried through in his family and dominated the depth of our hearts. It was truly inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThank you, O'Sheas and Smiths. We are here for you now and in the years to come, and Mike will certainly live on in all of our hearts forever.
